We are a family owned ski store that specializes in custom boot fitting. The Destination carries a full range of ski and snowboard equipment and all the clothing and accessories needed to complete your day on the ski hill. We have been open since 1982 and are now serving second generation customers. We pride ourselves in our level of customer service both in our retail department as well as our rental area. We are known for our seasonal rental ski and snowboard packages for growing children.

    Best boot fit ever!

    Very helpful staff. I had to bring my boots back for another adjustment and they were kind and knowledgeable. They are willing to think outside the box to make your boot right for you.

    The staff is informative, easy to talk to and great at fitting our skis' and boots. I love their online booking system and their rental package is awesome.

    Consider the space constraints you deal with you all do a great job to keep things moving. Your staff are all very polite and do a great job fitting the kids properly.

    Great service and great knowledge

    we have used their Lise program for our kids since they were little. Have always gotten great equipment. we’ve bought all of our adult gear there as well and appreciate their knowledge when making choices for products and fitting. They have great service and are very friendly

    Great service and knowledgeable staff

    We have been going to Destination for our family's boots & skis for a few years, and I have experience with them back to the 1990s. Their staff are friendly and well-trained, and very knowledgeable. This is a great spot to go to build up your own knowledge of ski gear and get the right advice for your level and age. My only feedback is that sometimes it's a bit chaotic in there and hard to tell where you should be going next. But still well worth it compared to a lot of the other shops in town.

    Custom Ski Boot Fitting

    Certainly! Here’s a glowing review: I recently had the pleasure of getting custom-fitted ski boots at Destination Slope and Surf Outfitters, and I can’t recommend the experience highly enough. While the prices aren’t the most competitive, the exceptional service more than makes up for it. The staff took their time to ensure I left with the perfect fit. Over the course of two hours, I tried on three different pairs of boots multiple times. Each time, the fitter patiently listened to my feedback, made adjustments, and explained the process in detail. They even included heat-molded footbeds and custom punching of the boot shells to accommodate the unique shape of my feet. The attention to detail and expertise of the team were unparalleled. By the end of the session, I walked out with boots that fit like a glove—comfortable, supportive, and perfectly tailored to my needs. If you’re looking for top-notch service and a commitment to getting things just right, Destination Slope and Surf Outfitters is the place to go. Yes, you might spend a bit more, but the quality and care you receive are worth every penny. There are Boxing week specials and I received a small discount for my new 130 flex alpine boots.
