Dr Alex Su has over ten years’ experience working across various tertiary institutions in Sydney, including at the University of Technology Sydney’s School of Design as well as the University of New South Wales’ College of Fine Arts. In 2012, he received his doctorate award from UTS for research in fashion history and culture and has maintained a keen interest in the area, in particular its intersections with other disciplines of design and architecture.

Dr Janet Gibson has over twenty years’ experience in the tertiary education sector including lecturing in the Department of Communication Studies at UTS, in English Communication at UNSW, Canberra, and in academic literacy at ELSSA, UTS. She has also worked in learning institutions as diverse as the Australian College of Applied Psychology, the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) and Taylor’s College in Malaysia.
