Make Your Own LEGO Microgame (Ages 10+)
This class is for students who are interested in gaming but don't have a lot of coding experience. This will be a stepping stone to our Game Design class. Do you love building with LEGO bricks? Have you always wanted to build a game? Our LEGO Microgame class will be perfect for you to get started! Using drag and drop techniques, you'll build your own LEGO world and a fun, interactive game with virtual LEGO bricks! For your game, you can choose your favorite minifigure character, you can make your own mods, and show off your new game to your friends.
2D/3D Game Design with Unity (Ages 10+)
This class is for students who have a lot of coding experience and feel very comfortable with using a computer. Gaming will never be the same again! In our 2D & 3D Game Design class, you'll use the Unity platform and a VR headset to fuse your imagination with reality and create Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality games with your code. You will also learn to add special creative filters to your camera feed. Another exciting feature you can know is how to use hand gestures to interact with the elements of your virtual game. Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality are the hottest technologies out there! Sign up for our class, learn to use the technologies, and be an excellent programmer!

In a Minecraft Coding trial students will be introduced to the Minecraft Modding platform, first completing a small intro lesson to familiarize them with the coding syntax. They will then create a mod using a few basic concepts, as well as abbreviated versions of more advanced ideas.

A Drag n Drop Coding w Scratch trial class will be used to evaluate your child's coding familiarity as they go through the first level of our Scratch course. Your child will learn how to use blocks of code to control characters to pass levels and possibly build their own game!

For this trial all students will start off with the basic Python (unless they already have prior Python experience, in which case their coach will bump them up to advanced Python or Java) which looks at some basic concepts with the languages such as data types, variables and in the case of java, object oriented programming. By the end of a trial class, a student should be able to have a feel for the level of difficulty based on their starting experience so that we are able to know where to start them out in class.

A Visual Python trial (ages 8-10) is a good stepping stone for introducing students to seeing code on the screen, and allows them to drag and drop blocks of code instead of typing it out. In this trial class, the instructor will evaluate your child's coding abilities, and guide them through the first level of introduction to coding with the python language. Your child will learn about different data types, how to call methods, and how to run their code to create a cool animation!
A Game-Based Python (ages 10-12) trial is optimal for students who understand the basics of coding concepts such as methods and objects. In this trial class, the instructor will guide your child through the first level of introduction to computer science, where your child will type coding commands to escape a dungeon! They will be coding in beginner python and practice good coding habits and frequently running their code to complete the levels.
