Where Education Meets Social Work

Private tutors can provide a holistic environment of learning that a classroom doesn’t always provide. The Gifted tutors go one step beyond by combining social work/psychology knowledge with educational mastery to create a one of a kind learning experience that is non-conventional.

This is not available for students with no less than a C average with no Behavioral or Learning Disabilities.

These extensive tutoring sessions include the tutor testing the students grade level knowledge, ability to retain information, and the students learning style. A specific plan is then developed for the individual needs of your scholar. This will include custom made worksheets, games, and more. This is beneficial for all students whose grades are less than a B in a particular area. We will learn and develop our skills in an innovative and fun way known to promote retention.

Behavioral Health Mentoring
The Gifted Tutoring Behavioral Health Mentoring Program is designed to work on social skills, respecting authority,self confidence, motivation, and attention. We will go over coping mechanisms to handle disappointment, anger, and grief in a non-formal way to promote healthy behavior and support positive growth. Sessions are held as a mixture of in home and in community. These sessions are Your scholar will have the opportunity to visit museums, skating parks, restaurants, historical sites, amusement parks, and more. (Event cost is paid by the parent).
