YinYasa Yoga is a hybrid of yang (active yoga) with yin (passive yoga). Class begins with Yin Yoga to build strength and overall mobility of the joints (e.g., hips and spine). Warmth and flow is attained by using fundamental yoga postures that connect the breath with mindful movements thereby potentially decreasing stress and tension. The class is finished using Yin Yoga which creates flexibility, mindfulness, and softness.
