Yevgeniya Baras is an artist working in NY. She has exhibited her work in several NYC galleries and internationally. She is represented by Nicelle Beauchene Gallery in NY and the Landing Gallery in LA. Yevgeniya is a recipient of the Guggenheim Fellowship, the Pollock-Krasner Grant, the Chinati Foundation Residency, the Sharpe-Walentas Studio Program and others. Yevgeniya co-founded and co-curated Regina Rex Gallery in NY (2010-2018). Yevgeniya teaches at RISD.

Hilary Doyle began the first iteration of NYC Crit Club in Summer of 2017 before partnering with Haggarty in the Fall of 2017. Doyle is an artist, curator, gallery co-director and teacher. Doyle is represented by Taymour Grahne Projects in London. Recent group shows include: Beach and Contemporary Domesticity at Taymour Grahne in January 2021 and The Symbolists at Hesse Flatow in Chelsea NY in February 2021. She has an upcoming solo show at Taymour Grahne in Summer 2022.

Rose Nestler (b. 1983 in Spokane, WA, USA) lives and works in Brooklyn. She holds an MFA from Brooklyn College. Nestler has exhibited in the United States and internationally, including exhibitions at König Galerie, Projet Pangeé, Public Gallery, Fisher Parrish, Hesse Flatow, Thierry Goldberg and BRIC. Her work was curated in a two-person show at Spring/Break in 2019 and she was a Lighthouse Works Fellow in 2018. She will be an artist in residence at the Joan Mitchell Center in New Orleans in 2022. Upcoming exhibitions include solo shows at Public Gallery (London, UK) in 2021 and at Mrs. Gallery (NY, USA) in 2022. Her work has been featured and reviewed in Juxtapoz, Vulture, Maake, and Metal Magazine.

Join us for a "happy little painting" class where you'll create a full oil painting from start to finish in one session! In the famous wet-on-wet style of Bob Ross, our certified instructor will guide you step-by-step through a beautiful landscape, or a seascape painting.All experience levels are welcome—no prior painting experience is necessary.And yes! You will have an opportunity to "beat the devil out of your brushes"!!!For ages 12+ (younger with approval)All supplies are included (canvas size is a 11x14)These items can be added for an additional fee at check out Larger canvases 16x20 or 18x24 To go boxes size 11x14 for safe transport of wet paintings and vinyl disposable glovesWe provide a safer environment by NOT using thinner in class. The brushes are cleaned with baby oil.Take home Instructions: To transport your wet paintings, bring a carboard box or flat cardboard. Don't have any. You can add it to your cart at check out. Place them on a flat surface in your car. The trunk or back of your vehicle is best. The edges will have paint on them so make sure your painting isn't leaning up or touching anything.

Using one of the earliest techniques to form clay, you'll get your hands dirty and experience the joy of molding and shaping clay with your fingers. Students will be guided on how to create three mushroom ornaments from stoneware clay.We will be creating these so that they can sit up on their own and glazing them all with red tops per traditional yule mushrooms.
