NEUROCONNECTIVE THERAPY
What is it?
Manual and physical therapy for injury treatment and prevention.
Through combining and applying the latest approaches in Neuromuscular Physical Therapy and Be Activated Techniques we can map what's happening in your body and get to the root of your issues rather than just treating the symptom.
What happens during a session?
Bev will take a complete history and test your strength and weaknesses through a series of muscle tests. Assess your breathing technique and help you to retrain your breathing muscles. Work out a treatment plan and give you follow up video tutorials.
How does it work?
The work helps your brain to reconnect to muscles that have become injured or lazy. It builds resilience and and alleviates stress in the body. Strengthens good neural pathways. Improves recovery. Reduces the risk of repetitive and further injury.

Through a series of muscle tests, releases and activations I can help you to understand what is happening in your body and why. Then I work on your body through a series of muscle activations, myofascial releases, to rid yourself of those muscle compensatory patterns that lead to chronic pain and injury.

When you become stressed, injured, or unwell your nervous system will protect you by creating neuromuscular compensation patterns. During a treatment Bev will complete a comprehensive neuromuscular assessment to find out what is happening in your body, this approach makes treating injuries more successful and helps the body to down-regulate the stress response Fight/Flight.
