Welcome to Houston Immigration.


Covid has caused significant delay for clients. Please note that the IRCC has been extending all timelines in lieu of this and clients should not be penalized. We provide Medical Exams for Immigration Canada (IRCC). Dr. Russell Houston is a panel physician authorized by CIC to perform medical exams for the purpose of immigration into Canada. Our Clinic is E-Medical enabled to help make this process more efficient for our clients. We are located in the heart of downtown Victoria, easily accessible from all parts of town.

Please note that Dr. Russell Houston is currently away, but we do have a Locum (Dr. Shannon Houston) covering his Immigration practice until he comes back. 

If you wish to make an appointment, we currently only book on Wednesday from 1:00-4:00pm, please keep in mind that the appointment will be 20 minutes long.

Due to COVID our booking process has changed, please see the below for the steps that must be followed

Book a medical exam (1 person /appointment) using this website. Approximately a week before your appointment, we will email you a medical history form to fill out and email back to us.Please wear a mask and sanitize hands upon arrival. The doctor will do a second COVID risk screen. If either the patient or the interpreter is found to be a COVID risk the appointment will be cancelled and the patient will be charged a cancelled appointment fee of $50 before rescheduling. 


Interpreter, if you do not speak English well you will need an Independent Interpreter, it CANNOT be a friend or familyPassport (or government issued ID)Eye Glasses or contact lenses, if you wear themAny medical reports or test results that you have for any previous or existing medical conditionsYour current medications

After the Medical Exam is complete Dr. Houston will give you a Requisition for an X-Ray and one for Lab Work. Please note that the Medical Exam, the X-Ray and the Lab work are all done in different offices:


1.Houston Immigrations:                     104 - 645 Fort St


2. West Coast Medical Imaging:          203 - 1120 Yates St (call for appointment)


3. LifeLabs:                                                202 - 1120 Yates St (no appointment needed)



 

Prices 


Medical Exam.       $200 (paid to Houstonimmigrations)

Xray                          $90 (paid to West Coast Medical Imaging)

Lab tests                 $87 (paid to Lifelabs)


Total                        $377


Children birth -10yrs age do not require X-ray or lab ($200 total)

Youth age 11-14 do not require lab but do require xray ($290 total)

Age 15 and up require all components ($377 total)
