Strength in Strides promotes fitness and play while nourishing healthy family habits, for individuals and families. Functional Strength Training to regulate emotions, combat trauma to perform optimally in athleticism and everyday life.Distress plays a major role on a physiological basis. Patients report feelings of restricted movement, feelings of tightness, muscle pain or tension. WE DO NOT WANT TO PUT LOAD on these dysfunctions or that will strengthen the dysfunction. Muscle compensation will take over and will leave you more susceptible to injury/reinjury.This same distress plays a role in emotional dysfunctions, using mal-adaptive survival tactics and repeating generational patterns of trauma. This leaves individuals and families more vulnerable to emotional dysregulation. This will not allow you to adapt properly to life’s challenges. Translated in the physical sense, this means you are more susceptible to injury and not just physical injury but emotional injury/reinjury.Strength In Strides provides clients with the tools to learn how to scan the body for tightness in muscles, pain or dysregulation. We study movement patterns, muscle dysfunctions and lifestyle habits. We alleviate restrictions, correct muscle movement and work towards strengthening new neuropathways for neuromuscular performance. This allows clients to progress in their strength and wellness programs effectively and efficiently.
