About the company
Slinging London CIC is a not for profit social enterprise supporting parents and carers in the capital to safely and comfortably carry their babies, toddlers and preschoolers. We run the North London Sling Library, with branches in Bloomsbury and Enfield, and the East London Sling Library in Waltham Forest.

Born to Carry peer supporter courses cover: - Sling safety - Physiology of using slings - Demonstrating and discussing safe sling use - Practical carrying skills - Assessing boundaries as a peer supporter Completing a Born to Carry course will enable you to get insurance to practice as a peer supporter. The training is suitable for volunteering at a sling library, or for anyone who would like to incorporate sling demos in their current role. The course will be facilitated by Azizah Attard (Director of Sling Clinic and Library; North London), a sling consultant and librarian with many years' experience of supporting parents and caregivers to choose and use slings.
