Welcome to the Kentucky Department of Corrections Reentry Division. As the area's Reentry Employment Program Administrator this office will be your point of contact for employment and coaching while you navigate your reentry into society. Here we will complete a Person-Centered Employment Planning, help you find potential job leads and help you in your search for meaningful employment.

Here is where we will help you review and work on your resume and review the most effective ways for you to find employment. In some cases, we may have specific companies looking to hire justice involved clients. Whatever the need in your job search we are here to help you be successful.

When it comes to finding work sometimes it has to be done in stages, or as we say the ABC's of job hunting;

Dare to dream! If you believe that the only thing in the way of your future success is your own effort and willingness. Reentry will help you plan the steps needed to improve yourself.

It may mean night school (for a GED), specific trade training, a vocational/technical skill, or even earning your college degree. These things take time and planning. The Division of Reentry is here to help guide on your path to becoming a successful citizen.

Our community partnerships also will be available to help with other obstacles that may be encountered on your road to success. We will connect you with providers, volunteers, and other available community resources that will help.

If you currently have estate documents (a will, trust, power of attorney or advanced healthcare directives), you are invited to bring in your current documents to have an in person review with one of our attorneys. The cost for the review is only $50 (normally a $125 fee) and if new or updated documents are needed, you can apply the $50 to the cost of new documents. If you currently do not have any of these important documents in place, use this opportunity to meet with an attorney to discuss your personal situation and get recommendations for what documents might be needed. The cost for this meeting is also $50, and can be applied towards the cost of documents, should you choose.

DG Advisors have arranged a special "second look" offer for CVG Employees and DG Tax. If you'd like a second opinion on your last tax return to see if any deductions were missed, bring your last tax return to your financial meeting and for the discounted fee of $65, a DG Tax CPA will review your tax return and return it with recommendations in time for your next DG Advisor financial meeting. Should you choose to have DG Tax prepare your 2018 tax return, the review fee will be applied to that cost. After you have received your recommendations, you can schedule your one on one appointment with a DG Tax CPA to discuss further steps.
