Jonathan Marshall serves as an Advisory Representative of Lincoln Financial Securities, Member SIPC, but he founded Divinity Group because he wanted to break the mold. He believes financial planning is all about fitting a plan to the individual – never the other way around. That’s why he built of team of professionals from several specialties; working together to provide complete and customized plans for the people they serve.    With more than 20 years of financial experience, Jonathan knows working on a financial plan is a lot like working on your golf game – you can buy great clubs, but you’ll never succeed without a great swing. When he works with clients, he first offers education, breaking down even the most complex concepts so they can fully understand their finances. Only after they’ve covered the fundamentals does he fit the client for their “clubs” – the individual pieces of their plan that are tailored to their needs.  Jonathan earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Thomas More College, and his master’s degree in management from The American College. Additionally, he has earned the designation of Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC), Certified Business Exit Consultant (CEBC), and Corporation for Long Term Care Certification (CLTC). As an active participant in his local and professional communities, he is a member of Leadership Kentucky and Leadership Northern Kentucky, the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, Million Dollar Round Table, GAMA International and Business Networking International.  Even though he considers his profession so fun it often doesn’t feel like work, he ensures he protects his valuable time with his wife and their two children; Novi (age 12) and J.P. (age 11).  As a former Marine, Jonathan also likes physical and mental challenges such as the Tough Mudder, and enjoys competing in Run Disney marathons and races alongside his wife and kids.         

Serving as a Financial Advisor for Lincoln Financial Securities in the Kentucky office, Dean is licensed as a General Securities Principal and a Registered Investment Advisor, and also holds his Series 7, Series 65 and life insurance licenses.  Dean received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management – Entrepreneurship and Small Business from Ball State University.  He also holds the Accredited Asset Management Specialist (AAMS) and Wealth Management Specialist (WMS) designations. Dean has provided financial, investment and retirement planning services for 15 years and has over 23 years of experience in the financial services industry.  Previous professional experience as a Commercial Lender for a regional bank and running a family owned business provides Dean a unique and useful perspective for his clients.  Dean works closely with clients to design a comprehensive financial plan structured to help them meet their unique deeds and goals.  Focusing on each individual’s complete financial picture, he believes in educating investors so as to work in partnership with and help them make informed decisions.  He has a strong ability to analyze complex financial situations and develop solutions but then present those solutions in a clear, understandable manner; even for clients lacking significant investment experience.  Dean also works with small to medium sized business retirement plans. Residing in Hebron, KY with his wife of 15 years, Jennifer, the two have one son, Benjamin.  Dean enjoys volunteering with Action Ministries and attends Lakeside Christian Church.  He enjoys travel, baseball, including coaching at the youth level, golf and spending time with his family.
