Our Bike Project, based in Hemel Hempstead, is a community-focused initiative dedicated to supporting individuals facing unemployment, homelessness, and low self-confidence. Through practical, hands-on training in bicycle repair and maintenance, the project equips participants with valuable technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and workplace experience that can open pathways into employment within the cycling industry and related sectors.At the heart of the project is a commitment to sustainability and social impact. Donated and unwanted bicycles are refurbished by trainees and then sold at affordable prices, making cycling more accessible to the local community.
