She has authored multicultural curriculum for Palm Beach County schools, co-authored chapters in Global Perspectives for Educators (1999), and served in diverse roles on campus ranging from Disabilities and Testing Coordinator to middle school and international student advisor. Holding degrees from Rutgers University and Florida Atlantic University, she is also an active member of several national and regional counseling associations. Bilingual in Greek and English, Mrs. Polentas brings a wealth of expertise, compassion, and advocacy to her students, while cherishing her roles as YiaYia to four grandchildren, musician, craft enthusiast, and active community volunteer.
