ONLINE HATHA YOGA CLASS  – Hatha yoga is a branch of yoga primarily concerned with mastery of the body. Patanjali describes Hatha yoga as an eightfold path, consisting of eight mind-body disciplines to be mastered. All other physical practices of yoga such as Vinyasa, Ashtanga and Iyengar stemmed from the Hatha yoga tradition. This class will involve a sequence of Asana (postures) and focus primarily on Vinyasa (moving with the breath) through the various postures.

Yin Yoga (Online) – Yin Yoga is the calming counterpart to the ‘yang’ of the Vinyasa Yoga practice. Yin Yoga offers the chance to be still, be present, and work within while you breathe and stretch deeply and create more space within in mind and body.

Our Private Swim Lessons focus on teaching our swimmers how to stay safe around water and helping them develop skills that will keep them physically active for a lifetime.  Each certified instructor considers it a priority, and a responsibility to prevent drowning and improve health outcomes by cultivating physical, cognitive, and social-emotional well-being through swimming.  Our private lesson program is extremely flexible and can be tailored to meet individual goals.

The Manta Rays Swim Team is a competitive swim team for youth ages 5-21.  We compete in both YMCA and USA swim leagues and offer a variety of other opportunities for competitive swimming at every stage.Minimum basic skills are required to be eligible to participate on swim team.  Each new swimmer will need a skills evaluation before registration can be permitted.  If you have questions, please contact Jocelyn ([email protected] or [email protected]) before scheduling your evaluation.

Deep tissue massage targets your body’s deepest layers of muscle and releases tension in overstressed areas. This type of massage usually focuses on a specific problem area to relieve issues that can’t be solved by classic massage techniques. This therapeutic treatment is designed to break up severe muscle knots and rigid tissue that cause tightness, stiffness and soreness in muscles. Deep tissue massage is a mix of slow, short strokes, and penetrating finger pressure focused on tight, contracted areas.

It involves soft, long, kneading strokes, as well as light, rhythmic, tapping strokes, on topmost layers of muscles. This is also combined with movement of the joints. By relieving muscle tension, Swedish therapy can be both relaxing and energizing. And it may even help after an injury.
