About the company
Please read the points listed below and inform the nurse on the day if any of the following apply to you: You have experienced a fever or general cold/flu like symptoms within the previous 24 hours; You have an allergy - this is particularly important if it's an allergy to eggs or products that contain chicken; You have had any reaction to medication or a vaccination in the past; You are pregnant or breast feeding; You have received other vaccinations within the last 3 months; You had any problems after your last flu vaccination; You are 65 or over. Please note that, this year, the advice from Public Health England is that the quadrivalent vaccine is appropriate for adults aged 18-64 (this protects against 4 strains of flu). However, the trivalent vaccine (3 strains) is recommended for people aged 65 or over. If you are 65 or over please inform the nurse so that this can be fully discussed with you.
