This session is suitable for Nurses who are due to revalidate and need a confirmer. As part of revalidation, nurses, midwives and nursing associates must demonstrate to an appropriate person that they have met the revalidation requirements. It is important that you read the information below carefully to ensure this session is suitable for your needs. You will also be asked to provide evidence before the session. If you do not provide this, the session may not go ahead, but you may still be charged (see our terms and conditions for cancellation charges).When is my revalidation application due?Your revalidation application is due on the first day of the month in which your registration expires. For example, if your renewal date is 30th, your revalidation application due date will be 1st of the month that month.You can find out your renewal date by checking your NMC Online account. If you do not have an NMC Online account, you can create one.When can I start my revalidation application?The NMC will send you a reminder 60 days before your revalidation application is due. This is called your 'Registration Renewal Notice'. Please do not book an appointment with ACI until you have received your notice/invite. You can then submit your application through your NMC Online account at any point during the 60 days.What information do I need to provide in advance of the session?To complete the session successfully, you will need to provide the following information via email no later than 48 hours BEFORE your appointment. If you do not send this information in the session may be cancelled and you may still be charged. 450 practice hours for a Registered Nurse or Registered Midwife (900 hours if you are dual registered as both Nurse and Midwife) - evidenced by a letter or email from employer or agency/payslip, please block out sensitive information and a completed Practice hours form template.35 hours of continual professional development (20 hours of these MUST be practical/ involving interaction with others). They will be required to have documented evidence. 15 hours online-theory evidence required and a completed CPD form template.5 pieces of practice related feedback and a completed Feedback form template5 written reflective accounts in the last 3 years since their last renewal - these must be completed on Reflective accounts form templatesReflective discussion with another qualified Registered Nurse or Midwife - this can be done at the same time as confirmation if the candidate has not yet had their reflective discussion. Proof of Professional Indemnity Identification – Passport or Photocard Driving LicenceOnly use the NMC templates to document your evidence/information. This course is suitable for healthcare professionals or other individuals acting as a first responder in an emergency delivering practical skills in managing patients in cardiac arrest. This course is aligned to the Resuscitation Council (UK) guidelines 2021.This practical session will be delivered over video-link with one of our experienced healthcare trainers and a learning booklet will be sent out to participants after the course. This course is practically assessed.Attendees will need to provide appropriate ID at the start of the session and must be in a private quiet space.This course is mapped and aligned to the UK CSTF (Skills For Health) and is valid for 1 year.
