About Ames Free Library of Easton, Inc.: Since opening its doors in 1883, the Ames Free Library has been proud to serve as a vital educational, personal, recreational, and professional resource for residents of Easton, MA and the surrounding community. The Library regularly offers a wide range of programming, thanks to the generosity and know-how of community members, and its diversely talented staff. A two-time finalist for the Library Journal and Gates Foundation's “Best Small Library in America” award, the Ames Free Library also offers its Learning Commons @ Queset House, an entire historical building enhanced with the latest technology. Queset House provides space for crafting, making, events and meetings, teaching, and connecting. As the Ames Free Library bridges the gap between past and future, it is a constantly evolving learning and educational center for the whole community.
