About Ames Free Library of Easton, Inc.: Since opening its doors in 1883, the Ames Free Library has been proud to serve as a vital educational, personal, recreational, and professional resource for residents of Easton, MA and the surrounding community. The Library regularly offers a wide range of programming, thanks to the generosity and know-how of community members, and its diversely talented staff. A two-time finalist for the Library Journal and Gates Foundation's “Best Small Library in America” award, the Ames Free Library also offers its Learning Commons @ Queset House, an entire historical building enhanced with the latest technology. Queset House provides space for crafting, making, events and meetings, teaching, and connecting. As the Ames Free Library bridges the gap between past and future, it is a constantly evolving learning and educational center for the whole community.

Come to Queset House’s very own Digital Media Lab with questions about Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, or Illustrator, and our resident aficionado, Myles, will help you out in a one-on-one session!
Let us know what you need help figuring out, or even bring in a project that can be worked on directly. Feel free to use either the Media Lab’s computer which has all these programs available, or bring your own device with the appropriate program if you have it.
One hour time slots are available every other Friday from 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM. Registration is required. Please provide a brief description of what you’d like assistance with so we can plan how best to help you!

Have you previously sewn on a sewing machine but find yourself without one? Not to worry; the Ames Free Library has a sewing machine available for your use in the Queset House!
Schedule a time with Martha so that she can introduce you to the Janome My Style 100 sewing machine. Once you have used the Janome My Style 100 sewing machine in this 60 minute tutorial you can check out the machine for in-house use.
Please note that this is a tutorial on using the Janome sewing machine available at the Queset House. Basic sewing know-how is suggested.
