    Cancelled appointment!!

    Nothing happened you guys cancelled my appointment because you didn’t feel the need to call my insurer to see if I was covered. I work for a physical therapist office and know sometimes I need to call the insurer.

    I walk in after scheduling the appointment online. A LOT of pain. I had been going to the Aloha branch before I moved to McMinnville and had very good experiences. So good in fact, that I went to the local Centro chiropractor. I was quoted $158. I have care Oregon insurance (i told them this) ... so you know I don't have money. THEN I was giving the names of the OTHER chiropractors in my area. I stood there in pain, not knowing what to do. I left. I went home. I took some aspirin. Health 'care' my ass. Just a business wanting my money and not my wellbeing.

    Dissatisfied

    First appointment was 75$ for adjustment paying out of pocket. Second appointment I show up and ask for the same thing. I told the doctor I wasn’t in much pain relatively and just wanted a lower back adjustment and shoulder. He proceeded to tell me about electric stimulus and hot compress and inferred that these were added to all appointments to further the experience for their clients. My hour appointment consisted of 15 minutes of waiting once I saw the doctor did another 20 minutes for the evaluation and the adjustment itself lasted 5 minutes tops. Cracked maybe 4 places. Proceed to ask me if it was okay for them to use the electric stimulate and hot pad. Didn’t communicate that it was extra or in anyway going to cost me almost twice as much. I get through with my appointment which didn’t go over an hour including the heating pad etc. I get up to pay my bill and it ends up being 135$ almost twice as much as my first adjustment. Even before my first appointment I tried to get some information on how much it would be for a basic adjustment for out of pocket. Couldn’t give me any info. Now the second time I’m paying almost twice as much with no explanation of it costing more or what I even paid for. The receipt has no information on it basically so it seems as if they took a number out of thin air and that’s what I was charged. I would have never gotten anything more than what I asked for if any person had communicated with me that it would be extra. The front secretary staff wasn’t rude wasn’t friendly either. Overall very disappointed with the lack of communication and I won’t be going back here again so that I can be charged an arbitrary amount again when there’s no communication with the staff
