Covid Vaccine Booster
Your Covid 19 Booster vaccine may now be due. If you are over 50, a healthcare worker or >12 years of age with an underlying condition you may now apply for your booster.
Simply choose the date and time that suits you best.
If you have had Covid since your second vaccine, please wait 4 months before getting your booster.
If you have a preference for a given vaccine, please contact staff and they can inform you what is in stock at the time of your appointment. Please note, the Pfizer vaccine is the only booster suitable for those aged between 12-29. The Moderna or Pfizer vaccines are both suitable a a booster for anyone over 30.
We are now only operating a booster vaccination service, anybody looking for a primary vaccine course must contact the HSE as the newly adapted vaccine is only suitable as a booster.

The flu vaccine starts to work within 2 weeks. You need to have the flu vaccine every year. This is because the antibodies that protect you decline over time. Flu strains can also change from year to year.The flu vaccine doesn't contain any live viruses. This means it can't give you the flu.
