About the company

Rachel Sever (she/her), LMT, CMT, a trauma-informed, systems-aware, collapse-aware, liberation-oriented Somatic Integrationist, massage therapist, and grief tender with 14+ years bodywork and somatic experience. I specialize in somatics: supporting explorations of mind-body-heart connections, personal-system-collective explorations, cross-generational traumas or patterns, and the embodiment and grieving necessary to enable change. I also offer physical-focused deep connective tissue and relaxing flow massage.In addition to English, I speak German and French, and currently have limited proficiency in Spanish. SLIDING SCALE:All sessions are self-pay on a trust-based accessibility scale. When considering how much to offer, balance your financial situation with allowing yourself to feel a sense of generosity in exchange for my energy and experience, as well as the expenses of running a small business. I aim to keep this work accessible for more people, while meeting my needs. The "SUSTAINABLE RATE" sustains my business and basic life expenses, and means you are currently in a situation that's more or less financially stable month to month. The "ALLY RATE" means you can share the abundance if you're doing well financially, so that I can continue to offer lower rates to those who need it. The "ACCESSIBLE RATE" is intended for unemployed folks, students, those in low-paid and socially-undervalued jobs, and those for whom systemic factors* have made it difficult to reach higher paying jobs or economic stability, etc...
