Bertus Preller studied at the universities of the Free State and Johannesburg. Bertus is also an experienced mediator and arbitrator. He is the author of Everyone's Guide To Divorce and Separation, published by Random House (2013). He is also the founder of DivorceLaws, South Africa's premier website on Family Law, a member of the International Bar Association and serves on the Family Law Committee and the African Regional Forum of the Association.

Nicole Martin is a specialist attorney in Family, Matrimonial and Divorce Law and obtained her LLB degree in 2014 at the University of the Free State, where she was also a member of the Academic Committee. After her studies she joined the firm Drake, Flemmer & Orsmond in East London as a Candidate Attorney and was admitted as an Attorney in 2017. She later became the head of the Family Law Department as a specialist Family Law Attorney. Nicole is also an accredited and experienced Family Law and Divorce Law Mediator accredited by the National Accreditation Board for Family Mediators.

Tyla De Leeuw - LLB - Family Law and Divorce Law Attorney
Tyla De Leeuw is an associate attorney in the Family and Divorce Law Department and obtained a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Cape Town at UCT, during 2017. Tyla joined the firm John Hudson Attorneys as a Candidate Attorney and was admitted as an Attorney in 2021. She later joined the Family Law Practice of Brian Segal as an associate, who was a partner of the late Abe Swersky one of Cape Town's best ever Divorce Attorneys. During 2022, Tyla joined the Family Law Department of Maurice Phillips Wisenberg as an associate. Tyla is a an attorney with a creative mindset with a focus on problem solving.
