Here is what makes our matcha swiss roll different -

We use the highest culinary grade of matcha powder that is grown and shipped directly from Uji Japan near Kyoto to give you the authentic, real taste of matcha green tea. Only high grade of fresh matcha will give you that bright, light green color (vs. a dull, yellowish green color).

Ingredients: Cake flour, Organic Eggs, Sugar, Vegetable Oil, Organic Whole Milk, Matcha powder  (Uji, Japan grown), Vinegar, Pure Vanilla Extract, Sea Salt.

Buttercream filling: Organic Whipped Cream, Organic Butter, Sugar, Matcha powder.

Hojicha (焙じ茶) is a lightly roasted green tea originated from Japan. It has a nutty taste and a finish of molasses and burnt sugar. Interestingly enough, this “roasty” flavor makes Hojicha taste quite a bit like freshly roasted coffee, but sweeter with a nutty undertone. Try to accompany your morning coffee with this cake. Our Hojicha is originated from Kyoto, Japan.

The sweet floral from our Jasmine Tea (茉莉花茶) Swiss Roll will wake up your senses. This is a tea scented with the aroma of jasmine blossoms. 

Jasmine tea usually has a white tea and green tea base, thus the resulting cake has a light yellow creamy color. The flavor is subtly sweet and highly fragrant. This tea has a high concentrations of antioxidants and anti-inflammatory properties which promote health benefits.

Ooooo so good! Our Oolong Tea buttercream is made with the Chinese Tie Guan Yin (Iron Goddess of Mercy)  loose tea leaves. 

What is Tie Guan Yin? Tie Guan Yin is a sweet, light and floral Chinese oolong tea, it is fermented and allowed to partially oxidize (20-25%).

Every bite of this Lavender roll is filled with the slightly floral sweet aroma. Thanks to the use of 100% pure, therapeutic-grade of Lavender essential oil (instead of using less costly lavender extract and coloring), the cake gives a wonderful smell of lavender, even though the cake is not purple in color! 

As we thought about the filling of this cake, we wanted to try something different. Ever tried a Taiwanese drink that topped with a sea salt cream? We create our own version of sea salt cream as the filling for this cake and it goes amazingly well with the cake. We love it and sure you will enjoy it as much as we do.
