Made to Run is a specialist running store for runners bu runners, providing free gait analysis service and offering a wide range of specialist running shoes, clothing and accessories. Owners of Made to Run, mother and son team, Susan and Matt Crehan are experienced runners, with Susan having represented Great Britain at the 1988 Olympic Games and 1987 Rome World Championships, while Matt is trying to follow in her footsteps being an avid racer with PB's for 5k - 14:22, 10K - 30:11, HM - 65:31.

Brilliant advice, information and service! I had an in-depth gait analysis with Matt on Saturday and told him my needs for going longer distances he advised my Ravenna 11’s where great for my shorter runs but advised me I needed something more softer for more miles to help with the pains I was getting... I purchased a pair of brooks Glycerin GTS 19’s on the day and ran 22k in them yesterday the difference was stand out! Highly recommended

Friendly experts - this is the place to come

Matt is highly knowledgeable adn runnging (and trainers!) are clearly his passion. I fetl very comfortable I was leaving with the right trainers for me and my running style.

Excellent service

Matt did a gait analysis for me earlier today, left with a pair of trainers and a pair of running leggings. Excellent service and so helpful and knowledgeable about all the trainers he brought me. Recommend this shop to anyone who needs help with understanding the different running shoe options.

Excellent Service

Brilliant shop! Visited earlier today and Matt carried out gait analysis and gave really helpful advice on the level of support that I need from a running shoe. He brought out wide a selection of shoes and was extremely knowledgeable about each of them. It was great to try a number of different pairs side by side and find ones that felt best for me. I left with a great pair of Hoka shoes. Would recommend to anyone

Made to run and second to none!!

Just fantastic from start to finish!! The colleagues in this shop really know their stuff and made me feel so comfortable. At no point did I feel pressured to buy anything and when I did decide on what I wanted, their was no upselling to a more expensive product.

Gait analysis with Matt

I attended for a gait alaysis as getting a issue with burning feet when running. Since I’m slowly getting back into it after a break away thought it was best to get it retested. Booked an appointment with Matt, very knowledgable about running, shoes, injuries and what type of shoe is best suited for your running style depending on type of running you are doing. I found out that I run with my feet slightly turning outwards as I push off, therefore could be the issue why I get it only on the pads of my big toes. Matt got 5 different makes of shoes all with a harder heel protector, to try and slightly correct my issue. He wrote the name of the shoes down for me to have a deeper look into and there was no pressure to purchase a pair there and then. I will defiantly be back once I’ve made my decision and this hopefully helps my issue and let’s me run pain free. Thanks again Matt
