Worst experience, wouldn’t recommend

The girls were sweet but unfortunately not helpful enough to salvage what turned out to be a disappointing experience at Cassa Spa. Having experienced authentic Hammam treatments multiple times before, I can confidently say this was not up to standard. The space itself was not clean, and when I was sent to change, the room was tiny, smelly, and had no light. Things only got worse from there. When I was sent for a shower, the staff member literally pushed me under the water, which was scalding hot—I almost burned my skin. Instead of a relaxing experience, it felt rushed and careless. When I called for help, I was sent to another shower, where the staff member hastily applied soap on my body in a few spots and then handed it to me before sending me straight to the steam room. I was left there for what felt like forever, with no one checking in or ensuring I was okay. My eyes started to burn, and when I asked for a tissue, I was rudely told to use tap water instead. When I said I couldn't sit any longer, I was told I had no choice because the rooms were busy. The attitude was dismissive and unfriendly. Finally, during the scrub, the two ladies performing the treatment were too busy chatting loudly to even focus on the service. What was meant to be a relaxing and rejuvenating experience—especially on my birthday—turned out to be a complete waste of time and money. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

Not as I was expected

I was disappointed with my recent visit to the hammam. The place was quite cold, which made it hard to relax and enjoy the experience. A warm, comfortable environment is essential for a proper hammam session, but unfortunately, this wasn’t the case. I hope they improve the heating for future guests.

Spa Day

My friend and I went to Casa Spa yesterday, the staff were very friendly, treatments were great, my skin feels unbelievable today. I had the best sleep after the day here. I just wish the organisation of the day was run a little better, it was our first time here and it would have been helpful to get an understanding of how the day would run, I felt like we were just ushered in and out of rooms when they remembered us. We were in the steam room for 40mins and ended up having to step out and ask when the scrub would be. I would 100% go again knowing it is not run very smoothly and just take it as is

Body scrub & massage

Booked for two of us. Pros - staff are so lovely, welcoming and make you feel comfortable, the body scrub was brilliant and we never felt so clean afterwards, the showers were really hot and the full 30 minutes was used for a very lovely, relaxing massage, value for money, the Moroccan tea and relaxing room was nice, they also had a hairdryer so we didn’t leave with wet hair! Cons - Changing room area needs work as it’s small and didn’t seem very clean, lockers were broken and we were still told to use them - upon return our locker was open as the door was off the hinge, need to provide disposable slippers for better hygiene. Less time in the steam room, a max of 15 minutes is sufficient.

Experience

Experience was as expected unfortunately it wasn’t hygienic and we were left in the steam room and forgotten about. I had to leave and ask to be scrubbed The steam room was overcrowded, very noisy and dirty. After clients leave the slabs we’re not cleaned properly

Great hammam but questionable service

While the hammam was excellent and delivered as expected, the service was disappointing. My sister and I were forgotten in a cramped, crowded steam room for over an hour, and the staff’s poor communication made things frustrating. A free face mask was offered, but being scolded afterward for unclear instructions was severely unprofessional. If you're looking to relax, this isn’t the place. However, I’d return for the affordable hammam that gets the job done.

Fabulous

I know that some people have said it's very busy and yes it can be really busy and a bit loud. If you want a quieter experience you should go midweek. Karima and the girls are lovely and attentive and massage is very good. The scrub makes your skin feel great and the chill out area is fine with lovely mint tea. Yes it could do with a make over but honestly I still love this place so I will always return. Thank you!

I would like a refund

I wish I had read the reviews before booking. I booked the escape package which was 2 hours. What is not clear on the site is that you are actually only getting a maximum of 35-40 minutes of services. The rest of the time you are herded into a cramped steam room for an hour and 20 while you wait for someone to quickly scrub you down. I'm being generous by saying they did this for 10 mins. My package included a Deep Conditioning Honey Hair Mask and a 30 minutes Holistic Massage. The mask was just some cold conditioner quickly thrown on my head and I was escorted back for the third time into the cramped sauna. A lot of people have said it was like a conveyor belt and I 100% agree. It was not relaxing at all. It was just a fast paced get in, get out place. The place is definitely run down and loud. The loudness is not from the people getting services, it's from the staff. I will say that all of the staff members were very sweet, it's just not a place to go and relax and have attentive services. I recommend just getting a day pass at a gym steam room then using a body scrub and your own conditioner. It would be a thousand times more relaxing than this experience. I am so upset that I paid so much for a 30 minute massage and cold quick dollop of conditioner.
