You want experience but offer nothing
Most of the phone interview was a sales pitch to get me to write for free. I am an experienced, practiced writer. for the protection of both contracting parties, You should at least offer a retainer as consideration to guarantee performance and discourage Request publisher poaching. There are those who want quality and will pay for it. I think I'll look them up. Regards,

Good Telephone Interview
I learned quite a bit about the organization and duties /responsibilities related to the vacancy (grant writer). Commission-based proposal-writing is unique, though not unprecedented (I lobbied unsuccessfully for the same pay-structure at the University of Central Florida). Overall, a good interview, regardless of the outcome for me.
