Cosheston Dog Field RulesHere's the important bit.... Show care and consideration for each other and leave the field as you would wish to find it. We all just want happy dogs and their humans. If your dog accidentally digs a hole. Please fill it. If you find a poo please pick it up even if it is not your dog’s mess. We will check regularly but with the best will in the world it is a big field and easy to miss holes and for poos to disappear in the grass. Please don’t let your dog chew the shelter or bench. There is plenty of other stuff to chew. Just as in nature, it is your responsibility to check what your dog is chewing and to keep them safe when charging around. If you are aware of any damage to the fence or other hazards please let us know as soon as possible so we can fix the problem or at least warn people - Let’s keep everyone safe and happy. Since we are only a few minutes away we can fix most problems straight away. Please leave the gate closed and locked when you leave. we want the space to remain private for our users. We have allowed a 15 minute buffer time between the hourly bookings. This field will be used by a lot of reactive dogs so do not stay beyond your booked time slot. Even if you have arrived late. This is a serious rule as we don’t want any overlaps. If you have any problems in leaving in time please contact us immediately. People want to feel relaxed that they will not get disturbed so it is also important that you don’t arrive early. If the previous Dog Field User has not left when your time slot arrives, do not enter the field but contact us.There is parking for one car outside the gate so no need to obstruct the road in anyway. The lane is used by tractors, etc so access must not be restricted. If required, it is also possible to drive in and close the gate so your dog can go straight from car to field. Please park immediately inside the gate on the gravelled area. Please check the ground is not too soft before you do this. All cars are parked at owners’ own risk. This is an enclosed field but not secure enough for all dogs. Please ensure it is right for you to keep your dog safe. It has always been sufficient for our dogs but you know your pooch best of all. It is your responsibility to supervise your dog and ensure they do not escape. There will at times be livestock in adjacent fields and whilst there is a buffer between Cosheston Dog Field and other fields no one wants any accidents. Do not leave your dog unsupervised. We really like our neighbours and don’t want them to get upset about persistent barking. We know all dogs will bark a bit when they are happy and excited but no persistent barking please. And please keep the human noise down for the same reason.Well behaved children are welcome when accompanied by an adult but please do not let them climb on the fence or gates. Please remain in the fenced field. The gates into our small holding are locked please do not climb over. We have livestock and electric fencing beyond the gates which may be a danger to you and also you may present a bio security hazard to our livestock.Appointments must be booked and paid for in advance. You will receive the padlock code by text the day before. If you book on the day please text me for the code on Nails & Tails 07538 245957.You must clean up after your dog. A bin is provided for dog waste but you need to provide your own poo bags. Please take all other rubbish home with you. Please do not leave any food or treats in the field this may harm a subsequent dog.Water is available but this is mains water that has been through a hose pipe so not suitable for human consumption but fine for dogs to drink.
