Inspiring lessons brought to you by the Hebridean Whale and Dolphin Trust (HWDT). 

Sessions aimed at P1-P4 pupils
Whales, Dolphins and Sharks Live Talk and Q&A
HWDT are offering primary school children the exciting opportunity to virtually meet our Education Officer, Sadie, and discover more about the whales, dolphins and sharks seen around the West Coast of Scotland.

After a short 20 minute live interactive talk, with videos, audio tracks and quizzes, pupils will get the chance to ask Sadie their questions about these amazing animals. 

Audience: Open to all Primary Schools in Scotland, in addition to some specific sessions for Home Educators. 
Dates: One week every term (Please check available dates and times on the booking calendar)
Duration: 30 minutes
Format: Interactive talk and live question and answer session (can be delivered using a range of platforms to suit individual class/school requirements)
Year group: P1-4 
Cost: Free

Sessions aimed at P5-P7 pupils
Working With Whales; What's it All About? Live Q&A
HWDT are offering primary school children the exciting opportunity to virtually meet our Education Officer, Sadie, and discover what it's like to be a marine biologist, researching and protecting whales, dolphins and basking sharks here in Scotland. 

We will be going live to answer your pupils questions and share our experiences of living and working onboard HWDT's whale research yacht, Silurian. This is a fantastic and fun way to highlight alternative STEM careers and bridge the gap between classroom learning and the world of work. 

Audience: Open to all Primary Schools in Scotland, in addition to some specific sessions for Home Educators. 
Dates: March and November (Please check available dates and times on the booking calendar)
Duration: 30 minutes
Format: Live question and answer session (can be delivered using a range of platforms to suit individual class/school requirements)
Year group: P5-7 (Smaller schools with mixed P4-7 classes are also welcome)
Cost: Free.
