Wagspot is a private dog park, where you can book and have exclusive access to the space with your dog/s. Entry to the park requires a booking. Bookings:Each booking is either 30 or 60 minutes long, with a maximum limit of 3 dogs. By making a booking, you agree to only bring dog/s from your household that are registered to you or dog/s that are temporarily in your care. For example if you are fostering a dog, or temporarily caring for a family members dog. Location:We are located at 349 Norfolk Road, Waingawa. While we are in rural Carterton, there are neighbouring houses that are visible from within the park. It is important to be respectful and not allow your dog/s to persistently bark or disturb the peace. Park features:- The park is just under 1/2 an acre- Secure 1.9m high fencing- Chicken wire run along the bottom of the fencing for extra security- Temporary shade sail in the corner of the park - Rubbish bin for dog waste only (Please take other rubbish away with you)- Picnic bench- Agility hurdles (More equipment to come)- Tractor tyres and cable reels for climbing / jumping on We have decided to open for bookings prior to everything being completed, so the park is still a work in progress. You will see changes and more features being added over time! We have not yet planted along the perimeter of the fencing, so the space does feel quite open. Once we have planted hedging trees we hope to provide more of an enclosed space with more privacy. Pricing:- 30 minute private booking: $15NZD for a maximum of 3 dogs.- 60 minute private booking: $25NZD for a maximum of 3 dogs. At this stage we are not accepting bookings for more than 3 dogs.
