Terms & Conditions
All tenants are to use the (Simply Book Me
System) to confirm a date and time for their vents to be serviced.
If the booking needs to be changed we will
require written notification from the tenant 48 hours in advance of our attendance.
Failure to provide a notification will result in a downtime charge. Please refer to the schedule of
rates.
Once the booking has been confirmed, if we
arrive at the apartment and the tenant does not open the door or grant access
then there will be a downtime charge. Please refer to the schedule of rates.
The tenant is to ensure any furniture that
is located in front of the vents is moved before our attendance. We
require full access to vents. If we arrive at the apartment and the
furniture is not moved then this will be recorded as downtime and a return
visit will be required. Please refer to the schedule of rates.
PUK will take no responsibility for moving
furniture.
Bookings are to be confirmed by tenants
via the simply book system, if on the day the tenant does not grant access
we will knock on the door twice and call the tenant. If they do not answer
then we will notify the building management team and they will need to
call the tenant, if we do not receive a response within 15 minutes this
will be recorded as downtime.
All costs are exclusive of VAT which will
be charged at the statutory rate current at the date of invoice.
Where works are aborted due to unforeseen
circumstances beyond PUK Ltd.'s control or where works are prevented from proceeding
without a minimum of 48 hours prior notification by the Client, PUK Ltd
reserves the right to immediately recover any associated abortive costs
from the Client.
In the event the Works are delayed or
suspended through no fault of PUK Ltd, PUK Ltd reserve the right to issue
an invoice for the Works already completed at that time, including any
fabricated materials not yet delivered to the site.
Downtime Charges - Will be charged at a rate of £485.00 + VAT
