Karate means “empty hand” in Japanese. It is a martial art that focuses on empty handed strikes, blocks and defense techniques. An ancient Japanese practice, karate was refined over thousands of years. East Asian immigrants imported it to the west in the 20th century. It found a home first on the west coast and then spread through the rest of the United States. Movie stars like Bruce Lee helped popularize the martial art and now, it’s become a staple of American culture.

With a thorough understanding of karate, students explore self-defense. They take control over their lives in every aspect. Karate teaches self-discipline and self-confidence just as much as it teaches strength, speed, agility and flexibility.

Kids Self Defence classes. Our classes for children have a dedicated “Young-Samurai kids” (or mon) jujutsu grading system and are designed for children aged 6 to 12 years.  

In our children’s classes, students will learn respect, humility, confidence, coordination, self-discipline and focus.

Our Future Champions Program focuses on instilling values such as respect, strength, and confidence in children ages 3-6. Students will be taught high-level Jiu-Jitsu techniques by our experienced Jiu-Jitsu instructor in an environment that is safe, fun, and challenging.

Our instructors are committed to helping parents mold their children into respectful and positive young adults. Parents are encouraged to stay during lessons to witness their kids becoming stronger and more confident with each passing class and to cheer them on every step of the way.

Mon. & Wed. @ 6pm / Tues. & Thurs. @ 7pm 

Advance your Jiu-Jitsu game flow during this course. Take your training beyond the fundamentals and begin to hone the principles you need to succeed, such as discipline, respect, commitment, and leadership.

Our GBK2 Program focuses on instilling values such as respect, strength, and confidence in students ages 7-12. Students will be taught high-level Jiu-Jitsu techniques by our experienced Jiu-Jitsu instructor in an environment that is safe, fun, and challenging.

Our instructors are committed to helping parents mold their children into respectful and positive young adults. Parents are encouraged to stay during lessons to witness their kids becoming stronger and more confident with each passing class and to cheer them on every step of the way.

This will be a one on one, one on two, or one on three Training session which will help you improve your fitness and Kickboxing. This Session is designed to for beginners, Intermediate or higher.

We will be working on:

Pad/bag work: Punch and kicking combinations

Footwork: Maintain good movement and distance

Balance: Keep the weight balanced on both feet

Timing: Knowing when to punch and when to kick

Fitness: Great aerobic exercises to prepare you to be able to Kickbox efficiently

Strength: Increasing your upper-body strength and utilising the lower body strength, working on core

Speed: Hand speed, Kick speed, footwork speed, speed padding

Flexibility: Stretching your muscles to perform the techniques you desire to perform

Advanced manoeuvres: Faints, side step, Perry, Counter and more

All 1on1 classes will be tailored to the individual and their needs

Each friend will cost £20 extra (first session free!)

Cours exclusivement réservé aux boxeurs amateurs. Les cours ont lieu du lundi au vendredi, de 10h00 à 12h00 à la Salle Leyrit, du lundi au jeudi de 17h30 à 19h30 au Stade Charles Ehrmnn  et le vendredi de 20h30 à 22h00 à la Salle Leyrit à Nice. 

Les cours ont pour but d'apprendre la boxe anglaise et de se perfectionner en vue de pouvoir participer à des combats de boxe, d'améliorer la condition physique et mentale, de maintenir une bonne hygiène de vie, d'avoir une bonne maîtrise de soi, de continuer à développer ses capacités pugilistiques et de pouvoir, pourquoi pas, passer un jour dans les rangs professionnels.

Les cours ont pour but d'apprendre la boxe anglaise, d'améliorer la condition physique et mentale, de maintenir une bonne hygiène de vie et de passer un bon moment !

Cours exclusivement réservé aux enfants. Les cours ont lieu le mercredi de 13h00 à 14h30 à la Salle Leyrit à Nice. Si le nombre de volontaire est suffisants, les cours auront également lieu le samedi matin, de 10h00 à 11h30.

Les cours ont pour but de leur apprendre les premières bases de la boxe anglaise, d'améliorer leur condition physique, de développer la maîtrise de soi et évidemment de s'amuser !
