Join us on a 4-week (1 class a week) journey where we will provide you with an all round basic knowledge of photography as an art form and potential business opportunity, equipping you with all the basics of photography. Including technical settings, compositional considerations, visual communication and basic photo editing all in one comprehensive course. The course consists of four lessons and a practical outing. During the first lesson you will be introduced to the basic settings of your DSLR and how these settings will affect your photographs. The second lesson aims to familiarise you with the principles of light, both natural and flash. During the third lesson you will be taught the creative aspects of photography such as composition. In the fourth lesson you will be taught digital workflow including storage, processing and resolution in addition to some basic Photoshop techniques. Lecturers will take you through the course step by step, imparting knowledge to ensure that you consistently produce excellent photographs. You will be required to complete projects during the course in addition to an early morning outing with lecturers to put into practice all that you have learnt.  Headshots sessions take place at our studio with all the best studio lighting equipment and the newest background options. Within 24 hours we will upload your photos to an online gallery. Then once you choose your favorite, we will retouch that image and deliver the full size digital file to you via email or dropbox. Individual in studio sessions cost $195 and includes one image. Additional poses can be purchased for $125 per file and can include additional employees. Once you book your session, we will contact you to confirm the details of your appointment. Large Group Family sessions are meant for more than 6 people and can take place either on location or at our studio. Sessions usually take about an hour but can run a little longer depending on group dynamics. Please choose the time and date that's right for you and we'll follow up with you to discuss the details of what to wear and what to expect. Most families spend between $300 - $2000 on a family session. An initial deposit will be due on the date of your session. Booking is free!
