We take you to the next level in your photographic evolution. Join us on a 4-week (1 class a week) journey where we will provide you with an all round basic knowledge of photography as an art form and potential business opportunity, equipping you with all the basics of photography. Including technical settings, compositional considerations, visual communication and basic photo editing all in one comprehensive course. The course consists of four lessons and a practical outing. During the first lesson you will be introduced to the basic settings of your DSLR and how these settings will affect your photographs. The second lesson aims to familiarise you with the principles of light, both natural and flash. During the third lesson you will be taught the creative aspects of photography such as composition. In the fourth lesson you will be taught digital workflow including storage, processing and resolution in addition to some basic Photoshop techniques. Lecturers will take you through the course step by step, imparting knowledge to ensure that you consistently produce excellent photographs. You will be required to complete projects during the course in addition to an early morning outing with lecturers to put into practice all that you have learnt. This comprehensive course covers all the basic building blocks in photography and is the perfect all round beginners course.

On successful completion of this workshop, students should be able to:

Understand the basics of technical photographic processes;Understand image composition and its importance;Develop a personal photographic style;Practical proficiency across the basic field of photography;Understand digital imaging, processing and workflow.

You will get a view of the pictures to see which (5-8)(10-15) pictures you would like edited.
