Michael May has been teaching Guitar, Bass, Voice and Ukulele for over thirty years, He has spent the last twenty years at Seminole Music and is a fixture on the local music circuit. Michael has recorded original music and has been nominated for three Tampa Bay Music Awards. He composed a movie soundtrack and has a IMBd credit. He teaches beginners and advanced students and customizes each lesson to fit the student.

Robert is a graduate of Gibbs High School in the Pinellas County Center for the Arts program (PCCA).  He is currently attending SPJC for music and continues to play and create original music. Robert has more than 10 years of playing experience on piano, succeeding in solo competitions and ensemble work including playing with the prestigious Ruth Eckerd Hall Youth Jazz Band.

Nikki Metropoulos has been teaching woodwinds, brass, and orchestral strings with Seminole Music for almost 2 years. While completing her Bachelors of Music degree in Clarinet Performance at USF, Nikki took many technique classes for different instruments. Her focus is on helping students improve their technique, intonation, and sight reading skills. As a teacher, she has helped students prepare for All-County, All-State, and Solo and Ensemble auditions. Nikki has over 27 years of playing experiences and over 12 years of teaching experience.

Alex has been playing Saxophone for over a decade and also teaches Clarinet, Bass Clarinet, Guitar Vocal instruction and Bass. Alex is current enrolled in on-line classes at St. Petersburg College and his goal is to be a professional musician.

Louis is a graduate of Gibbs High School and is currently attending St. Petersburg College. He has over two years experience singing classical music in choirs and private lessons with professional vocal instructors. He has 6 years of experience playing both Saxophone and Bass Clarinet in jazz band, wind ensemble and orchestra. He is well versed in music theory and has a passion for music and a desire to teach others to expand their musical knowledge and capabilities.

Tyler is a drummer born and raised in the Seminole area. A graduate of Seminole High School, he has taken a number of music courses including Piano, and electronic music, as well as experience performing as opening acts for several large names. A student of Glenn Meyer, Tyler has experience in Rock, Metal, Fusion, and Funk drumming. Beginner through Intermediate students accepted.

Julie has taught Violin for 29 years and was director of the Suzuki program at Duchess Community College Music School. She has taught students aged 4 to adult and has led and organized concerts. She has memorized Suzuki Violin Methods 1-4 and has participated in several orchestras in New York in addition to being Concert Master of 3 Florida Orchestras. She balances a high quality of instruction with patience and humor.

Natalie is a student at SPC and aspires to be an music teacher. She began piano at the age of 7, and since then has also become well studied in percussion. She received her AA in Music Education, and has been teaching piano since then. She is well ranged in music theory on the piano.

Emilee is currently a student at St. Petersburg College, and is  working towards an AA in Music Education. She enjoys working with beginning/intermediate level students and seeing the progress they make throughout their studies. She volunteers at middle schools to work in small groups with students as well as volunteering her time to the music department at SPC. She has been in All-County Band multiple years and won the Student Artist Competition for the woodwind category at FCSAA's Winter Symposium. 

Robert has been playing guitar for nearly a decade. He earned his AA at SPC and is currently working to complete his Bachelor’s of Science degree in Entertainment Management at UCF. Robert has played in a variety of bands around town and has experience working with a wide range of age groups and skill levels. Also available for Bass and Classical guitar lessons. 

Rick was a guitar studies teacher at both UMass Lowell and Boston for thirty years. He has taught guitar, bass and piano independently since 1974. He is featured on six different studio recordings and has a 2000 Grammy nomination for best instrumental music with children's spoken word with composer Mike Moss,.

Martha has a B.A. in Voice with Violin and a B.A. in Music Education. She has been a violin instructor since 1983. She has been an instructor at Seminole Music since 2006. She teaches using the Suzuki method 1-10 as well as additional Violin and Viola pieces. She teaches her students both expertise and technical skill as well as an enjoyment for both instruments. Martha played with an orchestra that went to Europe to promote friendship between the United States and Romania. Martha is a wedding violinist and singer. She also does concerts featuring operatic and sacred music. She has two student recitals a year at Seminole Music.

Jon Stepanak has decades of experience in live performance, studio work and drum instruction. He taught for many years at Express Music and is currently the drummer for the Big Brother band.  Jon customizes each lesson to fit the student and keeps it fun.

Justin is a professional guitarist, having played with a number of successful bands including The Time Framed. He has 13 years playing experience and specializes in beginner and intermediate guitar instruction. He is versed in both classical as well as modern play styles including rock, swing, and acoustic styles. Justin provides lessons for acoustic guitar, electric guitar, and bass guitar.

Perry Howell Brings a diverse musical background to Seminole Music. He both taught at and has a degree in music composition from USF and Author of, Performing Guitarists Tricks & Licks: How to Sound Like the Song and over the last thirty years has also taught at several Tampa Bay music schools, including his own store: Express music. He is deeply qualified in a wide range of styles including Rock, Contemporary, Pop, Folk and Country. He offers instruction in guitar,  bass, recording techniques, improvisation, music composition and performance. Perry has developed his own musical program, allowing him to customize individual lessons for each student to learn at their own pace. Final approval and scheduling of new students subject to personal interview or audition. Perry currently performs at several venues in the Tampa Bay area and is a fully qualified luthier if you are in need of stringed instrument repair.
