These trips provide a good introduction to fly fishing and the area trout streams with 4 hours of guided fly fishing and instruction. This gives you a quality fly fishing trip without the overload of too much windshield time. Whether you’re short on time and can’t commit to a full day trip or visiting Madison for a conference this option lets you sneak in some fishing and learn some new skills.WI Trout Season: March 1 - October 15

These trips take us deeper into the Driftless Area farther away from Madison, and off the beaten path. You’ll be provided with 8 hours of guided fishing, tackle, and a lunch to keep you fueled up. A full day trip gives you more time to hone your skills and practice what you’ve learned. We’ll have the opportunity to fish lots of quality streams that have higher densities of wild brown trout per mile, and more opportunities to catch quality fish.

A fly casting lesson is the key to getting started in fly fishing, and it gives you the most important skill for the pursuit. It also helps you become a better angler. We offer introductory lessons for beginners, casting tune-up for the intermediate angler, and advanced lessons for the angler going on that saltwater trip of a lifetime.

Each week is a different venue, keeping the variety up. Suitable for all level of fitness. To guarantee a place walkers should be sure to book in at least one week ahead.Participants are expected to have their own NW poles, but by prior arrangement (and subject to COVID guidelines) I can lend poles as necessary for the session at a £1 charge per session (payable on the day).All walks are risk-assessed in advance and delivered by an INWA accredited, insured nordic walking instructorInstructionsJoining instructions with venue details will be messaged in advance and are subject to change, depending on conditions.All bookings are subject to our Booking Terms and Conditions. Please note our fair cancellation policy. Footwear should be waterproof. Soggy feet is not good! Conditions are often slippy underfoot due to soft, wet, muddy or icy ground. For your own safety, you will not be able to join the session if you do.As per our Terms and Conditions, it is your responsibility to check before you attend each Session that you are in sufficiently good health and free of injury to participate in physical exercise.
