About the company

Established in 2014, Paint N Party RVA– an Independent Mobile Business – was founded by Christopher Jiggetts, a local artist with a goal to generate a fun and exciting atmosphere where guests can enjoy themselves while creating art.

 We host public and private events for all ages, groups and talents. From birthday parties to church events, Paint N Party RVA has you covered. We are flexible and will work with you to find the best accommodations for your group!

 

  ****PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING****

We will arrive 1 to 2 hours before the designated start time of the party to set up the materials. It is a classroom set up and all participants receive a gallery wrapped canvas, table easels, brushes, paints, aprons and paper products. The session takes about 1 ½ to 2 hours to complete depending on your masterpiece. The maximum time allotted for paint parties is 3 hours. Chris Jiggetts will work with you and your guests to re-create the featured painting that was selected by YOU! Paint N Party RVA has a large variety of paintings to choose from, be sure to let us know what theme you are looking for such as floral, wine, landscape etc. when booking your event. 

Private Events

When confirming your private event start time, please keep in mind this is the time instruction will begin promptly; please have your guests arrive a little early to get ready to paint n party. We can bring the paint party to your business, church, or favorite restaurant. A minimum of 10 guests are required for private event and the maximum is 60. The rate is $30 per guest. To hold the date and time for the event a $50 non-refundable deposit plus a $30 travel fee is required to schedule your painting extravaganza. We require the final headcount two to three days prior to the party date to prep the canvases. The host will be responsible for the final headcount submitted. For example, If you agree to hold a party for 10 and only 5 people show, you will still be charged for the full headcount submitted. Please be sure to convey this to your guests. If the $50 deposit plus $30 travel fee is not paid prior to the event, Paint N Party RVA has the right to make the event open to other guest if the venue is a public setting. A contract will be sent to a email on file for the host. 

 

 

Choosing a Venue

The host is responsible for securing the reservation with the venue. If you need assistance with finding a venue, please state this when submitting a booking request in the venue address field. Some venues require a deposit, which the host is responsible for. 

Selecting a Painting for the Event

 We have a variety of paintings to choose from. Please see gallery (hit the top right bottom with the 3 lines) and select a painting per the number in top left corner. Please keep in mind that you can request a color change during the event. If you would like a custom painting for your event, there will be an additional $20 fee per painting. After booking, you will receive an email from PaintnpartyRVA@gmail.com, please respond with a detailed description and/or an attached picture of the custom painting you desire. 

How to Submit a Booking Request

1.    Below select the deposit request of your choice. Example: “Private Paint Party Deposit with Travel Fee”.

2.    Keep participant count at 1.

3.    Choose date and time

4.    Fill out request form and click “Book Now”.

 After submitting a booking request, it takes 24 - 48 hrs for the request to be reviewed and approved. Once approved, you will receive an email and invoice from PaintnpartyRVA@gmail.com for the deposit/travel fee. All deposit/travel fee invoices will be processed via Square. The invoice must be paid within 48 hours after receiving or the request will be cancelled.

How do Guests Pay?

After the deposit and travel fee has been paid. We will make an Eventbrite website where your guest can pay online. The link to the website will be send via email. The link will be shut down two days prior to the event to prep the canvases.

 

Cancellation for Private Events

Paint n Party RVA requires a 5-day notification for cancellation for the event. Any cancellation after 5 days prior to the event, there will be a $50 cancellation fee charged to the card on file. Paint n Party RVA has the right to cancel any event due to unforeseen circumstances. In the case a full refund will be issued.  

 

Refund Timeline

 

Square:

It takes 2-7 business days to process a refund with Square. Once the refund is processed and sent to the customers card issuing bank, it can take another 2-7 business days (depending on the bank’s processing speeds) for the refund to post to your account. In total it can take 9-14 business days to receive a refund.

 

PayPal: It takes 3-7 business days for refund to be completely processed.

 

Public Events

If you are attending an open event, the rate will vary from $30 - $50. All open events will be announced via social media. Policy subject to change without notice***​​

 

Church and Kids Events 

Church events, the rate is $20 per guest. Kids events, the rate is $15 per child. The non-refundable deposit is $50.00 plus a $30 travel fee. Same terms apply as stated above.
