With its mountainous terrain and unique plants and wildlife, California’s Mojave Desert offers some of the most stunning views in the world. Capture its pulse from your point of view on our Shutterbug photography workshop and trail hike in Whitewater Canyon.

Hone your nature photography knowledge and skills while exploring some of the desert’s best hiking trails. You’ll receive hands-on instruction to improve your macro and landscape photography technique from an experienced photography instructor. Your trail guide will also share insight into the local flora and fauna, as well as notable natural landmarks and terrain, to make sure you don’t miss that perfect shot.

After your two and a half hour trail hike and photography workshop, relax in the preserve’s beautiful, shaded picnic area and enjoy a gourmet lunch. Feast on delicious sandwiches, cheese and fruit, crudites, salad, and irresistible desserts before taking a relaxing ride back to your hotel.
