No Pain No Gain

While I'm sure Carlita can deliver just about any kind of massage experience you ask for, on the suggestion of a friend who is a regular client, I just let Carlita do her thing without any instruction. It's clear that she is an intuitive expert at discovering your pain points and helping to release them with strong hands and fingers. My experience was incredibly rewarding and reminded me of the wisdom in the saying "There is no change without discomfort." As I rocked between deep sensations of searing pain and relief, I used deep breaths to stay present with the aches that Carlita kneaded into oblivion and I could feel the hot white release of physical and emotional blocks throughout the 90 minute session. My massage was like a high level workout - an endurance test that clearly would yield great and much needed returns. And while I'm still sore typing this the day after, Carlita is very good medicine and I am looking forward to my next session. Despite the insistent agony her strong hands are capable of inflicting on knotted, over-stressed and tense muscles, Carlita is a warm, soft-spoken, authentic healer. Her touch is transformational in that you can't release your pain if you don't feel it first. Highly recommended to anyone with a body.

appt canceled

I didn't receive my massage because Carlita injured her hand and needed to reschedule. I haven't heard back yet from her to get a new date. Still waiting. It would have been better if she had called me instead of emailing, especially since it was only few hours before my appointment. I was waiting outside her building trying to figure out how to gt inside. Called her number several times with no answer. Then finally checked my email to find out it was canceled.

Worth the wait

It's a little tough getting your initial appointment because of the Groupon thing but it's totally worth the wait. If you like deep tissue Carlita is the person for you. She's warm and generous and I have four more massages booked.

Carlita gave me a wonderful deep tissue massage which was exactly what I wanted and needed. She was very careful to check in with me to make sure the pressure was adequate but not overwhelming. I really enjoyed the massage and plan to return for more.

Fabulous Highly Recommend

It was just wonderful! So relaxing I almost fell asleep. Carlita was so gracious and really knows her stuff. I've had many facials and massages before and I just loved this one!

Best Massage Ever.

Carlita is amazing. She is the sweetest person, most professional, and puts you completely at ease. I have been seeing her for a few years now. She is super busy but always accommodates you. Her massages and facials will provide everything you want and are looking for (relieves tension, knots, and relaxation). I'm so lucky to have found her.

She doesn't return emails

I bought a groupon and there are no appointments for the groupon purchases. I emailed her over two weeks ago and she hasn't returned my email.

Wonderful Experience

Carlita is very sweet and makes you feel very at ease. The Vegan facial I got felt amazing, as did her shoulder and neck massage :). This was my first time and I intend to get additional treatment in the future :)
