What Is Aqualyx?
Aqualyx is developed for the non-surgical reduction of localized stubborn fat pockets under the skin. It is an injectable, gel-based aqueous solution, which dissolves fat and, is biocompatible and biodegradable.
How Does Aqualyx Work?
Aqualyx Fat Dissolving Injections are a specially-formulated compound solution which is injected into the problem area. It works by attaching to fatty deposits, breaking them down over time. The fat is then naturally dissolved and flushed out by the body.
When Will I See The Results?
Results can be seen quickly, but between two and sessions are recommended to to see a significant effect. Treatment for fat pockets underneath the neck and chin, for example, may require 1-3 treatments, while treatment for fat pockets on the hips and thighs may require around 8 treatments.
Follow up treatments will be administered 3-4 weeks apart.
Are There Any Side Effects?
Clients treated with Aqualyx will typically experience minimal side effects. These can include some redness, swelling and tenderness in the treated area. They’re all expected side effects and will settle within a few days or weeks depending on your reaction.
When Is Treatment With Aqualyx Not Recommended?
Aqualyx is not recommended for those clients who are suffering from acute or chronic skin disease in the affected area, medical history including anaphylactic reactions, severe allergies, severe organic or physical illnesses, autoimmune disease or diabetes. We also recommend that women who are pregnant or breastfeeding are excluded from this treatment.
Aqualyx
Aqualyx is ideal for those who exercise regularly and maintain a healthy diet but have pockets of fat that won’t shift, even with focused exercise.
Please note I do not advise this treatment as a large weight loss solution.
