*Sports Massage is an injury prevention modality, used to maximise performance. It assists muscle recovery between periods of exertion. Sports massage relieves muscle tension in a way that cannot be achieved through stretching and foam rolling. Types of Sports Massage include pre-event, recovery, and maintenance massage.
*Deep tissue massage techniques involve applying sustained pressure using slow deep strokes to target deep muscles and connective tissue (fascia). It is deeply relaxing and significantly reduces muscle tension.
