Visiting a care centerNew Zealand has moved to the Government's new Covid-19 Protection Framework, the 'traffic light system'.At RED and ORANGE settings, visits to care centres can occur with the following guidelines:Visitors will need to make a booking prior to visiting.Visitors will be asked to confirm they have been vaccinated (please bring proof of your vaccination).Visitors will be required to wear a face mask for the duration of their visit.No more than 2 people can visit a resident at any time. Children under 12 years of age are restricted from entry.All visitors will be health screened daily on entry. Please phone ahead if you have any questions or concerns around an upcoming visitation. If unwell or if anyone in your bubble has been at a location of interest within the last 7 days, please stay at home and call Healthline on 0800 358 5453.
