We can fit many different types of systems with alarms, remote viewing and many of features but we can discuss this with you on our visit. All cables will be hidden from sight where possible or placed into containment where needed and in most cases the cables can be run in roof spaces giving you a clean install 

Single door Paxton access control system with no need for a pc - price includes door controller, mag lock, exit button, 10x fobs and emergency break glass. It’s all you need to control one door and further fobs can be purchased if required

On arrival we will carry out a visual inspection of your incoming supply, meter tails,bonding and consumer unit - we are checking for signs of damage and correct rating

We would then verify what your fuses/mcb's are feeding - for example which circuit provides the power to your downstairs sockets this allows us to create a circuit schedule

Next we would isolate your consumer unit and carry out all the dead tests required to ensure your wiring is safe, while doing this we will inspect the wiring in your sockets, light switches and light fittings - access will be required to loft spaces to visually inspect your wiring - these tests help to confirm that your circuits are wired correctly and they are safe to use 

After the dead tests we would then begin to carry out the live tests on all circuits - the final tests confirming the safety of the circuits 

The final tasks are writing up the certificate and adding any photos will a full report of any defects found - these will be sent to you as soon as possible normally the same day but for larger buildings this may take longer

We allow for 1 full day when carrying out this work and during the day your electrical supply will be fully isolated while this work is carried out, on average the power will be completely off for 3-4 hours.

On arrival we will carry out some testing to ensure your current wiring is safe - if there are any issues we will inform you if there are major issues that cannot be rectified on the day we will not carry out the consumer unit change and you will just be charged for the labour while the testing is carried out. Please note this is very rare and you will be kept informed at all times

After the initial tests we will isolate the power to your property and begin to remove your old consumer unit while doing this we will label and remove the wiring

Next your new consumer unit will be installed, all circuits labelled and all circuits tested f

Here is where you can book a slot with us to carry out fault finding on an issues you have with your property like faulty lights, sockets and other wiring issues. The callout fee is £45 which covers the first 1.5 hours at your property after this we charge £18 per hour plus any parts required - you will be kept informed at all times and in most cases we can identify the fault in the first 1.5 hours

We always carry test equipment required and a selection of spares but sometimes a quote maybe required to rectify any problems found

£120 this covers the first 10 circuits any additional circuits are charged £18 per circuit -  we will contact you to establish an exact price depending on your needs

While carrying out the testing there will be disruption to your power supply while the work is carried out and accessories like sockets and switches will be removed to carry out the testing and inspection of your installation. We allow 8 hours but depending on size of the building additional time maybe required for the work to take place with a full explanation of the results given to the homeowner in person or via email if you are not present
