About the company

Spa culture within the UK has long been associated with that of luxury, but across the Nordic regions, going to the spa is part of everyday life, with wellness and self-care being a priority. Our aim is to promote the proven benefits of hot and cold immersion therapies as part of a daily routine right here in Cornwall. A family friendly space, away from screens, as part of the growing community at The Saltbox in Wadebridge. Soak in our huge 15 person woodfired hot tub, plunge into our cold water dip tank, rest in our woodfired sauna… and repeat.

Disappointing unfortunately

We have been to the spa many times and usually love it. Unfortunately this time there were swimming shorts drying in the sauna, the sauna fire wasn't kept topped up and we had to ask for water. I really love it here but this time it failed to meet the high standards that have been set before. ????

Sunday morning relaxing

Found this little spot on instagram and what a little bit of heaven it is . Booked as part of my girlfriends birthday weekend away we found the sauna and hottub at beautiful temperatures and the cold plunge was as exactly described cold . Spent the hour going between all three and leaving throughly relaxed before heading out for breakfast . Staff member on site explained every thing clearly and we were made to feel incredibly welcome . Keeping this one a secret and already looking forward to our next visit

Wellness Rules!

What a marvellous experience on our doorstep in Wadebridge. We were very well looked after and will definitely be returning. We feel so much better having had some down time after a busy week; having the use of hot tub, ice bath (our first time) and the sauna - so relaxed that we felt we had been there for hours!

AMAZING!

I booked the private Spa and Dine experience for myself and 4 friends for my bestie's 40th Birthday on Friday night (September 2024) and it was SO perfect in every way! The spa and sauna itself is perfection, we were brought drinks to our hot tub, we had an hour of absolute bliss and were then shown to our table to enjoy the most incredible food. One of those nights you remember for a long time. HIGHLY recommend!!

Wow what a great experience I had at Nordic Spa. Immaculate throughout, friendly staff, great atmosphere to chill out. Good value for money on the full spa and meal voucher! Will 100% be back when in Wadebridge again.

A taste of paradise to invigorate the soul

Situated in Wadebridge in deceptive shipping containers is a little corner of heaven. Beautifully clean and well-kept; the hot tub, plunge pool and sauna were revitalising! The bar did the best mocktails I've ever tasted - honestly!!! The owner was welcoming and attentive - it's worth taking some time away from the beach to refresh. 5 dazzling, superstars!

Clean & Private spa - fabulous!

I was sceptical about this but we decided to try it and were very impressed! The area is well hidden from the bar and street, very clean with nice changing areas. Take your own towels. Such a revitalising experience using the hot tub, sauna and cold plunge. Nice to stay for a drink and maybe food afterwards too!

AMAZING EXPERIENCE - 5 stars

Last night I booked the Nordic spa for an hour for myself, Partner and 10-year-old son. The cost was £125 for private use and we were blown away by the whole experience. Martin was attentive and showed us around bringing us drinks as required. We had privacy throughout enabling us to enjoy the spa fully which really made the experience. We were surprised just how easy we found it to go from the hot tub or 78 degree sauna to the ice bath and left with an amazing sense of calm and wellbeing. Martin has created something special here and gave us a 5 star experience. Excellent value for money and we will definitely be returning regularly.
