The Wedding Shed at Kookaburra Hideaway in Pokolbin in the heart of the Hunter Valley wine region in NSW.The main house is a stunning 5 star purpose built house that sleeps up to 10 people. Boasting a spacious bridal suite at one end of the house and 3 bedrooms with spa baths & ensuites at the other end as well as a disabled friendly bathroom.With wrap around Verandahs to soak in the view and a stunning inground swimming pool, this venue has the lot.Our ceremony location at the Marrying Tree is just metres from the house and the Wedding Shed After Party space.500 metres away you’ll find the Woodcutters Shed which is just perfect accommodation for a couple plus two kids if needed.For very small and intimate weddings and parties, talk to us about weddings at the Woodcutters Shed.

An Affordable Gem!

We met with Val who was a wealth of information about the venue and wedding planning in general. We immediately fell in love with the location, set-up, decorations and relaxed vibe of the Wedding Shed. We are so pleased to have found this incredible place that can offer ceremony, reception and photo opportunities all in the one spot without blowing our budget! Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Beautiful Venue

The online videos don't do the Wedding Shed justice, the views and set up is magical and we are so excited to be having our wedding there. The support with vendors and ideas has been incredible and so helpful. Val was full of information, gave us great ideas and cleared up all our questions about how a day would proceed and things to plan out that we would have overlooked otherwise. We really recommend seeing this venue in person, you will fall in love.

Boho Paradise

We met with Val who straight away gave us a fun and welcoming vibe. She made us feel like our opinions matter and really was detailed about the venue. The wedding shed venue and accomodation itself are simply perfect, it’s private intimate and out of the ordinary exactly what we were after. I highly recommend this venue for that perfect wedding that doesn’t blow your budget and isn’t like any other venue and Val is the perfect co ordinator so you will be well looked after..!!

Stunning Venue!

I fell in love with The Wedding Shed just from seeing the walkthrough tour on the website. And after todays visit I am 110% certain this will be my Wedding Venue. Absolutely stunning and it has beautiful views you don't see on the website. Val was so amazingly helpful and answered all my questions plus gave more information on the venue and how the day would play out. I am so excited to book and Celebrate the biggest day of my life, to date, at The Wedding Shed. Highly recommend checking it out!
