About the company

Now in its 6th year, we remain committed to investing in local talent and the bright minds of the future through our Paxton Scholarship. We’re offering 3 places to students from the University of Brighton and the University of Sussex, who are graduating in 2024 and pursuing STEM courses. What’s included with the scholarship?Three-Month Paid Work Placement: Join us in July 2024 where you’ll work alongside our brilliant Development team at our Brighton head office. Engage in real-world projects and gain valuable engineering experience.Real-World Experience: Dive into live development projects where you’ll gain hands-on insights into the world of engineering, and benefit from the expertise of our teams.£10,000 in your final year: We believe in supporting you whilst you’re studying, and to ease any financial concerns so that you can focus on your studies. This will be paid to you through the University in your final year. The global market for our security products is growing rapidly and we need a constant influx of smart and motivated team members.” How do I apply?Join us on Friday, 11th November for our Scholarship Open Day in our Brighton office.Meet experts in Engineering and product design, with hands on demonstrations which will include wireless connectivity, SolidWorks mechanical design and embedded design. Compete in the Paxton Time Trial for a chance to win a £50 Amazon Voucher.Free food! We offer a variety of food on the day and provide all allergen information. Tour our State-of-the-art buildings, EMC Testing Facility, and our NEW Electronics Factory.The event runs 11:30 – 14:30, but our last entry will be 14:00.How long you stay with us is up to you and really depends on what you’d like to learn before you apply. Typically your visit will last around 30 min, however bear in mind the event will be closing at 14:30.Attendance is mandatory for the open day if you wish to apply for the scholarship, we recommend booking your slot early as possible to avoid missing out. All information will be provided to you when booking your slot, if you have any issues please get in touch. What happens after the open day?You’ll get an email inviting you to apply for the Paxton Scholarship, application closing date is 27th November 2023. Successful applicants will be shortlisted and invited to attend an assessment day on 12th December, this will involve a final stage interview and interactive tasks. Scholarship offers will be made the following week! Remember, don’t forget …You’ll need to attend our Open Day to be able to apply for our scholarship.Make sure you’re available for our assessment day too on 12th December.Book your slots earlier to avoid missing out.
