Sara & Kaitlin
Our names are Kaitlin and Sara, and we own the Ross Pet Barn in Ross. We met as moms at kindergarten drop off and immediately discovered, through conversation, our shared passion and love for animals. We worked together at a pet store for a little bit before deciding to open one together. And its been amazing.
Kaitlin went to Vet Tech Institute at Bradford School in Easton, OH and became a vet tech. She worked at Care Vet Emergency and Specialty Vet in Blue Ash for almost 2 years. She grew up with many pets, including horses, cows, goats, and lots and lots of fish. Her dad bred fish in their family basement for years. Kaitlin has always had at least one dog in her life. She has 30+ years of animal care experience. Currently Kaitlin has 5 dogs, a hedgehog, a bearded dragon, 2 crested geckos, a leopard gecko, 2 sugar gliders, a rabbit, 3 Sulcata tortoises, and we can't forget her aquatics. She even still has horses and farm animals at her parent's home.
Sara went to Hocking College and upon graduation, began working at Parky's Farm. For 15 years she learned how to care for poultry, rabbits, livestock and horses. She also learned to care for snakes as well, which she used for educational programs. She got her first dog when she was five and have always had one around. Sara grew up with bunnies, guinea pigs, and gerbils. She now has 3 dogs, 3 snakes, a spider, a scorpion, a rabbit, a hamster, 6 birds, 2 rats, a Russian tortoise, 5 quail, a fish tank, 2 geese, and lots of ducks.

Two times a day, we will come out to check on your large animal pet, i.e. horse, donkey, goat, etc... We will feed and water. If required, we will turn them out in the morning and bring them into the barn in the evening.

This booking is for small animal, bird, reptile care only. You bring your reptile, bird or small animal, i.e. guinea pig, hamster, rabbit, etc... to the store in their current cage. Also bring their food and treats. Drop them off and pick them up while we are open. This booking is free as long as you bring all food necessities in with your pet.
