Mel Haines
Mel is a transition specialist with SAYes. She joined in 2023 after volunteering as a mentor since 2020. Originally from the UK, Mel now lives in Berlin where she also works for Babbel, a diverse and multi national language learning company. Mel originally studied social work and has a history of voluntary work with mental health charities. Along side her role at Babbel, she is also a member of the wellbeing champion team. As an advocate for mental health and her genuine passion for people, Mel has also recently embarked on a part time counselling course.

Eytan Nafte
Eytan works as a transition specialist with SAYes. He has a background in life coaching, working predominantly with men, navigating relationship challenges and midlife adventures. He is also a part-time portrait photographer and perpetual student. The last 14 years have been spent studying Archetypal Psychology and mentoring groups on self-awareness and initiation workshops. He has been a mentor with SAYes for three years.

Bridget is an accredited Coach, Trainer and Facilitator through her company Shift1degree. She provides one-on-one and group coaching, as well as interactive workshops. Having volunteered previously as a SAYes mentor, Bridget joined SAYes in 2020 as Transition Specialist, where she supports mentee/mentor matches through their programmes. She is also currently in her second year as a Counselling and Communications student at SACAP.

Andrew Dellis (Facilitator)
Andrew Dellis is Operations Director at SAYes. He graduated with a PhD in Psychology from the University of KwaZulu-Natal in 2011. Andrew has extensive experience working with vulnerable populations in Africa. He worked at the Child, Youth, Family and Social Development unit at the Human Sciences Research Council throughout his graduate studies. Before joining SAYes in 2015, Andrew did postdoctoral work with an interdisciplinary team at the University of Cape Town. His work focused on adolescent risk-taking, cognitive control and addiction, especially under conditions of social and economic inequality.

Educated in West London Roxane joined the Metropolitan Police, London direct from 6th form after getting her A level GCSE's. A posting to inner London secured Roxane's realisation that her career lay with working with young people in the community involving them in Sports and Life Skill Programmes. During her career Roxane was a Schools Liaison Officer, ran the Duke of Edinburgh Youth Scheme and was a staff member at the Police College for Cadet recruits. A chance meeting on a holiday in Cape Town led to a marriage and a daughter...South Africa was now home. Roxane's interests include camping, outdoors, anything fun, trying new challenges and finding the good in life.

A match session focused on working with the Individual Transition Plan (ITP). Mentors and mentees are encouraged to book three ITPs during the year. The first ITP appointment occurs within 6 weeks of matching. The second 3 months after that, and
