About the company
Programme OverviewThe Prospect Programme is a 12-week in-depth work placement programme, which provides hands-on skills in an NHS setting. The programme consists of 1 week induction and 11 weeks work placement. Volunteers work 30 hours a week over 4 days. During the placement, there is also a half-day session each week of teaching or support for the volunteers.Placements can be within all areas, such as administration, healthcare, pathology, and support.The aim of the programme is for volunteers to learn all the main requirements of an entry-level role within the NHS, which provides them with a strong advantage with applications and interviews.Main benefits for volunteers – in-depth, hands-on learning.
