Discover a selection of Bermondsey brewery taprooms a short walk away from London Bridge on this beer tasting tour that’s been running since 2017. We started this tour to help others discover beer styles from a range of different local microbreweries and hear about the history of the area along the way from your expert guide.

We are spoilt for choice now for taprooms in the area however it was only in 2009 when the area’s modern craft beer history began. You’ll hear about this on the tour along with the background to all the venues visited and their specialist products.

The venues visited can change depending on the day and time of your tour however here’s a selection of the places we may visit:

Hiver Beers – The honey beer specialist is often a great start to our tour, with it’s unique products that get a little help from the bees.Anspach & Hobday – famous for their award winning ‘The Porter’ beer – this is a great stop on the tour.Brew by Numbers – started by Tom and Dave after they met travelling and bonded over a love of beer.Bianca Road Brewery – American inspired beer styles after the founder cycled across the states enjoying stops in brewery taprooms.Moor Vaults – Bristol based brewery that has opened a specialist barrel ageing project in the capital. Enjoy some stronger, darker beers here to finish the day.

Our Bermondsey Cheese, Meat and Beer Tour allows guests to sample quality British cheese and charcuterie alongside different beers at a number of Bermondsey brewery taprooms. We taste soft and hard cheeses, salami, chorizo and enjoy them with different beer styles such as pale ales, IPAs or stouts. It’s about quality British produce on this tour with food from local suppliers.

What could be better than cheese, meat and beer all together (I’m sure vegetarian’s may differ). This tour takes place inside 4 different Bermondsey brewery taprooms and you’ll enjoy beers at each stop.

We meet in Southwark Brewery for a welcome drink and introduction, before heading down to Billy Frank’s Jerky for cheese and beer tastings. We’ll then walk the short trip down to Anspach & Hobday or Bianca Road or Moor Vaults.

Your guide will be on hand to talk you through the food and drink sampled and explain how different foods and flavours pair well to different styles of beer.

We’ll take you on a guided beer tasting tour around 3 different Bristol brewery taprooms or craft beer venues. You’ll learn about a number of different beer styles along the route plus an insight into the venues visited and Bristol’s beer scene as a whole.

Depending on the day of your visit we’ll head to 3 of the following locations: Moor Brewery, Arbor Ales, Good Chemistry, Lost and Grounded, Wiper and True, Beer Emporium, Small Bar or The Barley Mow. Please note that the venues visited can change depending on the day and time of your visit.

You’ll walk between the venues, taste a number of different beers on route and learn about how the breweries started out along the way. You’ll be accompanied by a knowledgeable local guide to talk you through the beer styles from start to finish.

The Bristol Craft Beer Experience starts the day by meeting outside Grain Barge and heading down to the ferry for our private 30 minute tour along the harbour.

On board we’ll enjoy a talk and tasting of 2 local beer styles to start the day (nothing too heavy to start).

We’ll sail past the old Bristol brewery site, and you’ll hear a little bit about the history of brewing in the city from past to present. We’ll then head to Moor Brewery to sample a range of their beers in the taproom.

It’s then a walk down to Left Handed Giant Taproom and Newtown Park Brewery Taproom to finish the day with more tastings.
